Anchoring this program are the last quartets of two star-crossed, Leipzig-loving composers: Robert Schumann's op. 41, no. 3; and Felix Mendelssohn's op. 80. Baritone Jesse Blumberg joins DSQ in new arrangements of Lieder by these and other renowned composers in the Leipzig circle: Johannes Brahms, Fanny Hensel, and Clara Wieck.
