Description
CthulhuCon PDX is a convention style event spawned from the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival® in Portland, OR, with the mission to provide a larger forum for the literary and artistic legacy left by Lovecraft and his circle. Cosmic horror and elements of Lovecraft's work have become much more prevalent in modern horror fiction, games, pop culture, and art. CthulhuCon PDX was created so that these things, which have a small place in the film festival, would have a larger space to be explored and enjoyed. CthulhuCon is also designed to be an intimate weekend with Lovecraftian creators... a chill weekend in one modest space to hang out with authors, scholars, artists, and fellow enthusiasts. Celebrate Lovecraft's 125th Birthday year and the lead up to the 20th Anniversary H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, with two days of gaming, panel discussions, author readings, artists, vendors, movies, and other hijinks that humans were not meant to enjoy. Featured Guests
