EPISODE 4 Guests:
JAKE CLEMONS
Jake is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and singer. Since 2012 he has been the Saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, taking over the role from his Uncle, Clarence Clemons, who passed away in 2011. He also tours extensively with his own band, and has performed with Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, The Swell Season and The Roots. His latest single is a remix of “We the People” from the 2019 album Eyes on the Horizon. The song is a call for unity and empathy in a radicalized and divided climate.
ART BERGMANNA recipient of the Order of Canada, Art Bergmann is a foundational figure of the Canadian Punk scene and a fearless portrayer of ugly truths. His songwriting consistently takes aim at hypocrisy and corruption, searching for the humanity beyond the bullshit. Art’s album Late Stage Empire Dementia releases May 21 on the (weewerk) label.
DOROTHEA PAASDorothea is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. She’s been playing shows around Canada & the US since 2011. Paas’ intricate, thoughtful and heavy songs explore intimacy, anxiety, the body, and beyond. Her new album, Anything Can Happen, released May 7 on Telephone Explosion Records.
We look forward to seeing you virtually.
