Queer Fear presents SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT
December 16th
Pre-show: 7:30PM | Feature: 8:00PM
SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT became one of the most controversial movies of ALL TIME, thanks the original Angry Mom and ill-placed tv commercials of Santa on a murder spree. It’s brutal, ridiculous, possibly anti-Catholic, and features a hunky killer Santa worthy of an 80’s gay porn - it’s a nightmare come true for queers this holiday season.
The slasher follows beefcake Billy into a decent of madness and murder brought on by witnessing his parents’ murders during Christmas, and apparently not everyone handles trauma as well as Batman. Then again, Bruce Wayne wasn’t forced into a Catholic orphanage with a crazy Mother Superior who’s hellbent on ‘fixing’ disturbed children with some good old tough love.
Featuring performances by some of the naughtiest drag queens Toronto has to offer AND a post-screening discussion (you’re gonna need it)!
PLUS, queer artist Blondie Nation (creator of the screening’s poster) will be selling his darkly comic horror works in the lobby!
If you’re looking for a feel good movie this Christmas, thisf is NOT it, but if you’re looking for lots of blood, hunks and camp, then come be amongst your Ghoulfriends!
