Here’s the deal. I’m turning 40 and I promised myself I would celebrate myself in a way I never have before. I considered an extravagant vacation, considered a complete makeover I even thought about taking on a new business venture, but
I knew in my heart what I really needed to do. It is time for me to step forward. As an introverted black woman with severe middle child syndrome, I have managed to strategically live my life in a supporting role.
So, I’m stepping forward y’all! I created a one woman show to celebrate the woman I have become, the woman who I always knew I could be. No supporting actors, no background extras. It’s just me sharing my truth and transition from “Baby Hideout” to the Middle Child Visibility Movement One Woman Show. The weight of keeping the peace for everyone around us in order to focus on keeping the peace within can be heavy. This is a movement and I am here to challenge every middle child to break out!
